Publishing is often bittersweet.
All of the writing you've done has come to an end, and now the world has access to your work.
Now what?
There's a void in your day once a writing project is published, and coupled with the end of the adrenaline rush from that last push to finish, you can hit a wall.
There are three things you need to do immediately.
- Celebrate your accomplishment.
- Announce and market what you've just published.
- Start a new writing project.
Of the three items above, the 3rd is perhaps the most important.
Don't get me wrong: The other two items are significant, but as soon as the world finishes what you've just released, they're going to want more, so you have to get back to writing.
There is also nothing like a new project to help fill that void and restart that adrenaline!
